Florence
Only 40 minutes by car, Florence (or Firenze as it is known locally)
is packed with places to visit. The Duomo dominates the sky-line
and is the 4th largest cathedral in the world with a large pink,
white and green marble facade. Don't forget a visit to the famous
Uffizi gallery.

| Lucca
In just half an hour you can be in Lucca. Lucca is the only Italian
town to be entirely surrounded by walls. If you've a head for heights,
why not climb the Guinigi tower for a stunning view of the town?
It's an unusual tower as it has a tree growing on top of it!

Sienna
A bit further away, at approximately an hour's drive, is Sienna.
Sienna is built on three hills and is located right in the heart
of Tuscany. It has a medieval appearance characterised by narrow,
winding streets.

Terme
Just 10 Minutes drive from the villa is the pretty spa town of
Casciana Terme which boasts a fantastic natural spa with renowned
healing properties. The town also has a lovely square ideal for
letting the children have a run while you enjoy a coffee, pretty
shops and a good selection of restaurants. The Thermal Baths are fantastic!

Castiglioncello
Just an hours drive and far less commercial then most Italian
beaches, the pretty seaside town of Castiglioncello has a great
selection of seafood restaurants. There are rocky promontories
off which to swim as well as small beaches ideal for children.
